I need a website. Where do I begin? What is your process?
We do full cycle, turn-key website development. This means we design the look, devise the information architecture, code the back-end, create and manage databases if needed, and provide hosting and SSL certificates. At no point in the process - or after the website is live - are you on your own.
We begin with asking questions. What do you want your website to do? What is your target audience? Are there websites that you really like that can be useful to us as examples of design and/or functionality? Once there is a clear idea of what you want, we get back to you with a sketch for information architecture; 2-3 design mock-ups; a price; and a timeline for project completion.
I have a website that needs an overhaul. Can you help?
Yes. If you know exactly what you want, great! If not, we will review your site and come back to discuss, with a to-do list. In some cases, we'll recommend a revision; in others, rebuilding the site would be the better solution.
Do you do SEO?

I want a bespoke website, but I'd like to be able to update it on my own.
No problem. We can create a custom content management system that allows you to update some or all parts of your site.
Should I just use Wordpress? It's free.
Debatable.
Wordpress is arguably the greatest DIY platform in existence. It works, and works well. That said, "theming" and configuring it isn't as easy as it sounds, and rarely yields polished, professional results. Endless customization options seem a boon yet often prove to be confusing and time-consuming. And, being the "everything for everyone" engine, Wordpress is plagued by code bloat and requires regular maintenance.
If you go bespoke, there is no upkeep. No settings to fiddle with. No plugins to install and manage. Lean, error-free code and great performance metrics right out of the box. Everything works and looks exactly the way you wanted it. While a larger initial expense, a custom website may save you time and money in the long run - and it will most definitely look better and run faster.
What about domain name registration, hosting, and email service?
We can handle all of this. One year of domain registration, one year of hosting services, and a SSL certificate are included for free with every new website build. Every domain name comes with up to 50 email addresses.
What if I need support after my website goes live?
We're here for you. Support and advice come free with every site that we make, forever. Small changes and revisions are free for 30 days after your site goes live, and are billed on the hourly basis after that.
Can my site have a blog, a store, a poll, a subscription service, a calendar, etc?
Yes! We can do these and more.
